We are a warm, friendly and fun loving family living in Finchley, a pretty suburb in North West London. Our children are 2 girls (8 yrs old and 6 yrs old) and 1 boy (3 yrs old). We like to think they are well mannered (mainly!) and fun loving children. Both our daughters go to school during the day, and our son attends nursery school.
We are family orientated and enjoy spending quality time with our children, for example going to the park with them and on outings. We would expect our aupair to be enthusiastic and hardworking aswell as being reliable. It would be useful if you have some experience in dealing with children and as our aupair, you should have a genuine love for children and enjoy spending time with them. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of the family aswell as having her own interests. Duties include childcare, for example getting the kids ready for school, homework etc, and some basic household duties. You should also like to travel as we go on holiday once or twice a year. There is flexibility for time-off during the day if you wish to study a course part time.
We have a modern spacious house and you will have your own large fully furnished double bedroom, own bathroom, TV , DVD and broadband wireless high speed internet. We live 5 minutes walk to the underground station (30 minutes by tube to central London). Finchley is a safe and pretty residential area with plenty of parks, cafes, shops etc. There are also many families in the area with nannies and aupairs.
