We live in a friendly area with shops, a gym, a theatre and pubs just down the road. We are 10 minutes from the city centre by bike. Bristol is a lively university town voted among the best cities to live in the country. It is less than 2 hours to London by train.

| Describe Duties Of Au Pair: |
We are looking for someone to play with the older children and take them out to the park and to activities. You will be asked to help with the baby (changing nappies, baths, cuddles). There will also be a bit of tidying up and help with cooking. We have a cleaner so housework will be very minimal.
Martin and Gaelle go to nursery a few mornings a week, but most of the time there will be at least one of them at home as well as the baby, so home is busy and full of life!
I will be at home and my partner will be going back to work when baby is 4 weeks old so you will be included in our everyday busy life. |

We speak French amongst ourselves most of the time, and English when we are out or have visitors. It is preferable that you understand some French so that you don't feel left out.
Because we have such young children we require someone who has experience with small children and babies, either through their own family, their studies or their work.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone for the children to love, and hoping this will be a very positive and happy experience for you and for us.
We are flexible as to how long your stay is. We need a minimum of 3 months, but are happy to extend it if everyone is happy with the arrangement.
Family references can be supplied from former helpers who were very happy with us and stay in touch with the family. |
