Leamington Spa is a great place to live. Lovely community feel to it.We live in a lovely 4 bedroom detached home which is situated on a quiet road, includes a lounge with a fireplace 2 TV's and dvd palyer, dining room, large kitchen, 2 bathrooms, conservatory , good sized rear garden. You will have access to the family computer, which includes internet, and skype for making international calls. There is a park within a 3min walk, the nearest bus stop is 2 min walk, I will provide a monthly bus pass, small groceries and post office within 5 min walk, and the library is within a 3 min walk. |

Of course your main obligations are to ensure Kassidy is happy and safe. I will require help picking her up from school, which is a bus ride there and back, watching her after school until I return from work, and taking her to any after school activities that are near by. I would like it if you could make Kassidy dinner on weekdays, help with dishes and keeping the kitchen tidy, and helping to keep the house tidy between cleaning's. I would also like 2 evenings out so babysitting may be required twice a week with prior agreement. Once a week I would like help ironing my shirts, approx 40 min worth. Finally it would be great if you can help walk the dog once a day. Kassidy does get an allowance for doing her own chores and helping out so I would encourage her to help as well. I have my son during term breaks, for 3 of these I will require help watching him. |

We are Canadians and have lived in the UK for 3.5 years now, I have also lived in Los Angeles, Texas, Sweden, and Switzerland so I know what it feels like to move to a new country and what it takes to appreciate a new culture. I am also inclined to go around on weekends to discover new places and attractions around the UK, and can quite easily be persuaded into this, so you are more than welcome to join us and to suggest cool places you would like to see. I put 6 months are required but if everyone is happy there is an opportunity for you to stay longer. Kassidy quite often goes to Canada for August so you are free to take your holidays for all of August.
The best time to attend language school or other courses are in the mornings or evenings. There are two schools near by, Warwick college and The heart of England study programmes. |
