My name is Palma. I live in Hungary with my parents and my brother. Although I have completed many courses I have been unemployed for a while. I had been thinking a lot lately and finally decided that I want to go back to London to work as an au pair.
I consider myself the ideal candidate for the job because I have all the relevant experience. I have worked as an au pair for three years in the UK and in Spain. I have to admit that those few years were the most memorable years of my life. I can only thank for the families, especially for the children. They have given a lot more than I expected. I have looked after various age of children from 9-month-old to fourteen-year-old. My favourite age-group are the little ones between 3 and 6 years but of course I can get on well with any kind of age-group. I used to skateboard and take exercise regularly, so I am quite fit and sporty. With my energy I am sure that I can catch every lively children easily.
Naturally I can do most of the housework what a woman should do. Anyway I like to keep my surroundings neat and tidy. As my profession is dressmaker technician I can iron perfectly. I have never had any problems with cooking: I noticed it is much easier to cook basic English dishes than Hungarian ones. According to this matter do not worry, I can cope with it.
I guess I have good communication skills. I think my English knowledge is around upper-intermediate level but of course I am keen to improve it. I am an enthusiastic and hard-working person, I find myself trustworthy and patient enough to fulfil this job.
I prefer to take care of children over 4 years old because while they are at school or nursery, I can do the housework and concentrate on my studies. I am planning to work as an au pair for a year, maybe longer. Afterwards I might stay in London and try to find a job as a shop assistant or I return to my country to become an English teacher. At the moment I am looking for a nice family where I can have a pleasant time during my stay.
