Dear host family, It is difficult to write something to a family I yet do not know but I hope that this will change and I am getting to know you soon. I love it to work with children and many people told me that I am really responsible with kids. For me it is exciting to play with children, to look after them and to learn them different new things.Now I do nearly 3 years of baby-sitting. I had to watch out a 3 month old girl and a 5 year old boy. Now they are 3 years and 8 years old. They are so cute and everytime I ring the doorbell at their house the boy comes to let me in and he always had a big smile on his face because he liked me watching out him and his little sister. I did my A-levels and now I would like to work as an au-pair. As I mentioned I have more than three years of experience in baby-sitting. At school I made two years of a voluntarily class called "Ob.St". It is a program at which the old student help the new 10 year old children at school to get along at the new school. I spent a lot of time with them to show and explain them everything at school. I want to visit a foreign country as well as to learn something about a different culture. Furthermore I would like to advance my language skills and especially work with children. As a result au-pair is the best possibility to do that. I am sportive. I like to do gymnastics since I was three years old. I did a lots of different sport activities like tennis, handball, dancing and gymnastics. I love it to do something with kids. It is fascinating because their view of so many things is different to the one of adults. And even if they do not want to do something or they won't go to bed it is challenging. But I can cope easily with such situations because I have a lot of experience with children. Another point why I would like to work as an au-pair is that I am orderly and proper. I like to do sports. I did 5 years of gymnastics, 4 years of tennis, one year of dancing and a half year of handball. Now I am a cheerleader, we are a little group of girls who like to dance and do gymnastics. It is a little bit different to the cheerleader of America. I like to meet people and get to know new people. I love it to be outside, in nature and go for a walk. (Especially be in nature with children and have fun with them).
