Dear Family! First of all I’m a mother of two-although I have a babysitter certificate from Hungary and I spent a year as a housekeeper-nanny with an indian family who had a 8 months old baby-the main source of my experience is my motherhood. To get ready for this time I read a lot of books,listened to a lot of different advices yet when my doughter started to cry I got excited ,confused,embarassed,nervous Later I got to know that I should listen to the sound inside, I should learn my child’s signals and follow the sound. They don’t need moore than your attention but the whole! I never left them alone,dragged them from the kitchen to the room, to the garden, to the bathroom speaking to them all the time! Later –of course-I sent them to different playgroups,courses., but their main background remaind the lot of conversation , the time we spent together. They become very independet and confident adults. Thomas Gordon’s help was great later when the communication got harder. He said: You should accept before you want to change! Spending 1-1 nice year with my children at home I had to go back to work: I’m a retired biology teacher,teaching for more than 30 years at the same school! My children at nursery,school.We survived,it wasn’t easy! I like my home, like it tidy,clean,liked evenings around the table eating a good home-made meal! But that time is over, they are grown up, I live my own life, currently here in the UK, looking round the world, getting new experiences, trying to learn a really good English ! Here I was security for! one year, having CTC clerence, SIA licence, so I needn’t work permit,entitled to live and work here any longer. Currently I work in a hotel as a maid, cleaning the guest’s rooms. This isn’t my dreamy job, I’d prefer dealing with children. I learned it, I did it, I like it.
