Dear Family As you may know I知 Ricky, I知 almost 19 years old and from the UK. I live with my mother, step father, two sisters, two dogs and two cats, as you can tell I知 very used to a busy and lively house. I live in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Kettering is quite a town in the East Midlands, it has great transport links to London. I have lived here all my life and have really enjoyed it. I currently attend Northampton College which is 1 hour on the bus, so I知 used to getting up at 6am, I have just finished studying my AS levels in English Language and Literature, French and Government and Politics. I study a range of subjects but enjoy each of them for different reasons. In the future I hope to go to university and teach English as a foreign language, maybe in Asia. Or if I improve my French It is my dream to teach French. As well as studying full time I also work part time, I知 constantly on the go. I work in a restaurant kitchen on the carvery, I serve food to customers and help cook the meat and vegetables, working in this busy environment I知 used to working under pressure and keeping calm, I think that staying calm is one of my qualities. Although it seems I知 always busy with college and work I do still find time to see my friends, I知 a very sociable person and ever since I was younger have been able to make friends quickly. As well as socialising with my friends I do like to listen to music and read, I enjoy reading classics but I also enjoy modern fiction. Languages and travel have always been a passion of mine, I致e just returned from Berlin where I stayed for a few days, I really enjoy seeing new places. Why do I want to Au pair? Why wouldn稚 I? Au pairing will give me the chance to help families and also help children to grow and develop. Au pairing would also give me the chance to see new countries and new people, my dream. I have looked after my friends nieces when the visit from London, I really enjoy looking after them, Kya and Grace, they are two amazing girls, I really like watching them learn and develop. When I was in secondary school I completed my work experience at an infant school, I was a teaching assistant and helped with different aspects of the class room, such as work and playtimes. I致e always been told that I知 a trust worthy and reliable person. I know how precious your children and your house are, I want to assure you that you can depend on me to help with the smooth running of your home.
