Dear Family, I have already found a family to stay with this summer but I will be availible again next year.
Hi, my name is Rita and I'm looking for care work with children of any age. I am enthusiastic and caring and I love looking after children.I want to become an au pair because I love looking after children and I would like to do this all summer long. would also like the opportunity to test my people skills by living with a family like yours. By staying away from my family and friends I would be out of my comfort zone but I think I can live up to the challenge. It would be nice to gain some independence from my family for a short time so as to develop beyond more fully rounded with my own diverse and unique experiences.
I'm willing to work in any area in the listed countries especially the UK for the whole summer. I have my own car(which I could take with me to the UK only) and a full Irish driving licence. I enjoy working with children very much and have experience working with young girls in Girls' Brigade Rathmines. I also have experience of babysitting in children's own homes, the children I currently babysit for frequently at the moment range in age from 2 to 13 including a set of 2 year old twins. I currently babysit for families who speak English, Irish, French and German.
Last summer I volunteered at two different summer camps. One full time humanist camp (Camp Quest Ohio) for a week and one music week long day camp in Dublin.
I am a first year University Collage Dublin Arts Omnibus student. I am taking Music and English(including a class on children's literature) as majors and Greek & Roman civilisations and Drama as minors.
I think it's very important to enjoy playing games with children to mind them properly. I love music and I like to share this with children. I have a great deal of experience of entertaining children from my work with Girls' Brigade.
I'm an upbeat enthusiastic person. I like getting to know new people especially in or from different countries. Music is me huge passion, I play recorder and sing. I have achieved good grades in many music exams at the RIAM music school in Dublin. I love swimming and used to help teach 5-7 years olds to swim on Fridays. I love reading all sorts of books. My favourites are Little Women and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I like animals a lot, I used to have two dogs and three cats. Now we hove only one cat.
