Dear Family, I've always wanted to try working as an au-pair but never had the time to do that. I've been studying and working at the same time for the last 6 years. Now I would like to spend some time outside of my home country and experience different cultures.
I'm a 25-year-old woman living in a city. For 3 years I was a teacher of English at lower secondary school. I've always had good rapport with children and teenagers. Being a teacher taught me a lot and I would like to use the skills I learnt in au-pair job. I'm a friendly, talkative person. I enjoy a good laugh, mountain trekking and countryside. I love animals, especially cats (I've got 3 at home).
I want to be an au pair because it allows me to brush up my English. It got a bit rusty when I finished college and started working at school. I feel I have to submerge in English to reclaim my former fluency ;) Secondly, as I said before, au-pair job allows people to experience something different than what they have in their countries. I would like to spend a great time with the target family and learn from them whatever they offer to teach me. In return I offer my comittment to the job. I'm also able to help children when they have homework to do or other school tasks.
