Dear Family, My name is Rhona and I am a student at Glasgow university studying Genetics. I am 19 years old. I have always had an interest in travelling and experiencing other cultures, last summer I travelled through Asia backpacking with a friend and had the oppertunity to see and do amazing things. However, this summer I would like to combine my love for exploring other cultures and travelling with my love for working with children. I come from a large family with more cousins and second cousins than I could count, and from the age of 15 was responsible for babysitting many of my younger cousins and family friends children, from young infants to teenagers. I am reliable, mature and sensible, yet also fun and outgoing. I take part in many sports and activities including swimming, horse riding, tennis, hockey and rowing and would keen to organise day trips and activities for children of all ages. As a student living away from home, I am also able to cook and do housework and would be willing to work as many hours as required. I am hard working and polite, and would love the oppertunity to work with a family who need a nanny or au pair over the summer.
