I’m fascinated about Great Britain, I love what I hear about the people there, about their culture, their history. I love the sound of their language, actually I’m completely overwhelmed about the inner greatness. My name is Sönke and I’m 21 years old. My home is a little town in the North of Germany and I’m living there with my family: my siblings, my parents and our pets. Our house, a big, old one, is located on the outskirts.
After achieving A-level I’ve decided becoming a trainee at the Commerzbank, due to my two big pleasures - economics and financial markets. I’m looking forward the big exams, as though I´m getting more and more excited. However I’m confident that finally all the hard work is going to pay off.
In a few weeks, when my traineeship ends, I want to go abroad, last but not least for improving my English knowledge. I’m favouring Great Britain - which you already know.
In my free time I like to do sports, listening to music, reading (mostly worth knowing texts) and meeting my girlfriend, my friends or having fun all together. My family plays an important role in my life, for this reason I often being together with them. Whenever I had a stressful day, I’m taking a walk with my dog enjoying the spirit of nature.
A further hobby, which my family like the most, is cooking. Thoughts about becoming a professional cook weren’t not mine anymore, though it makes a lot of fun to spoil my guests with delicating food.
I’m really ambitious and hard-working. These includes, that I always succeed self-defined goals. But of course I am a sensitive and helpful person, who likes to laugh a lot.

Reasons For Becoming An Au Pair/Nanny etc:
As I thought about my future, especially for the time after my traineeship, I got quickly the awareness, that working as an Aupair is the best thing I could do.
On the one hand my neighbors always let me watch their children, which task I loved. On the other hand, I want to improve my English knowledge and I want to know, how it feels to live like an English person. I image that the experience to live inside a big family is fabulous.
As I realised how fixed my decision was, I even searched contact to families, whose needed a babysitter, for getting more and more experiences. In addition I’ve made a children-first-aid-course and a babysitter-course to conform your expectations.
Finally, I’m looking forward to have a good time together.
