Dear “second Family”, My name is Csaba, but you can call me Shrek. That’s how my friends call me. I actually like to be called Shrek, so it’s not a problem. I will tell you the story of this name when we will meet personally. I was born in Marosvásárhely (Targu Mures), Romania in 1985 June 18. This is a city in the heart of Transylvania whit mixed population, half Romanian and half Hungarian so I’m used with multicultural life. By nationality we are Hungarians, but as we live in Romania, our citizenship is Romanian. My parents are 53 years old, and I have a 17 years old brother. They always supported me in whatever I decided to do in my life. My father is a mechanic, he repairs bicycles since 1990. Almost every summer I helped him, so actually I am good in mechanics. We built together our family house almost by ourselves. This way we saved a lot of money. My mother is a vendor in a bigger market, and of course she is also a housekeeper, chef, nanny etc. Let’s call her the all in one person. My brother is learning at the same school as I did, so he will also be a technical orientation person. I live with my girlfriend for about one and a half year in rented flat. We are on our own; we have to do everything for ourselves, and actually we love to be independent. I always loved to be in the kitchen and helping my mother. I still love cooking in a kitchen where you have all the necessary things and prime materials. So after I graduated the high school as an electrician, I decided to change something. Sadly in our country you can’t find a job without a diploma from a university so instead of completing a chef course I decided to go to university in a four times smaller city Csikszereda, to become a food engineer. I lived here five years. After three years I realized that a loud food factory does not match my plans to have a relaxed happy life, so I actually stopped learning and I did not pass 3 exams. I did not finish the university. I know…shame on me. But I always said, that we live just once, why not to do what we like? So, I came home and searched for a job, and luckily found one. I’ve become a camera-man at a television. I was always fascinated by gadgets so from the first day I felt like I was meant to do this. Since that day everything is about photography and filming. And the funny part is that I found my girlfriend because of the television. We met at an exposition were I went to make a reportage. Since then passed two years and I’m still doing the same thing. I realized that here I cannot step forward. I feel like I’m running in a tread-wheel and, doing a lot and still being in the same place. It’s sad, that here we are living to work, and not working to live. This is the main reason why we (and I say we because I’m not willing to go without my girlfriend) decided, that it’s time for a big change. We are anxious to go to a new place, with new people where we can gain new experiences, and see that it is possible to live a decent life. I’m sure, that I could meet your expectations, because I’m a very social guy, I’m ingenious and willing to learn new things. I worked in many places, although I’m just 26 years old. And I didn’t change my work places because I give up easily. I always loved to meet new challenges. I worked one year as an event organizer. I loved it, because you have to manage multiple tasks at once. I worked one year as a TAXI driver. It was fun because I actually love to drive. I drive daily since 2003 and even today, when I get in the car, I smile and it’s a relaxing activity for me. In the past, I worked four months in Germany as a tractor driver at a farm. This was a student job. I like to travel a lot. Every year we gather with some friends and go to a 3-4 day trip with tents possibly to the Carpathian Mountains, away from the busy city life. There you can relax for real. We would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you personally, to answer whatever questions you may have about us, to discuss about your expectations, and maybe take the decision to live together for a while.
Thank you for your interest in my application! I look forward to hearing from you.
