Dear Family,
I'm Jean-Charles, a 18yearsold french, who study History to University of Rennes, in Britain. This i my first year to this University, but I went to a prepartory class (I don't know if it exist in England...) last year, and I've get my Baccalauréat in 2010
(I have a year early because I skipped a class in elementary school). I think the best way to learn English is to go to an english-spoken country, rather than to follow English language classes in university about Agatha Christie or her characters like Hercule Poirot! I apologize if your are Hercule Poirot's fan!
I'm a very curious boy, who like discover differents cultures and travel. My friends decribed me like a joker, and a easy-living guy; They also think I'm a free and tolerant spirit , influented by Voltaire and Nietzsche books. My friends are very sympathic to think that about me, even if it is a slightly idealized portrait!!
I read a lot newspapers or socials sciences books, and i learn Chinese since september and...I'm quite good! I'm preparing a journey to China on 2015, and i think a journey to an english-spoken family would be a good experiment for beginning!
I'm not playing music but I listen a lot and all kind of music. I like to going to theaters and cinemas.
I have to little twins sisters, Charlotte and Léa, 15 years old, and I had do some baby sittings in my home village. And this year, I look after 4hours a week a 11 years old boy, Lorenzo, who have some problems to school. It's a free work cause i'm a member of one association (AFEV)
