My name is Maddie and I’m 19 years old. I live in Botosani in Romania and at the moment I’m studying for Communications& Media college in Bucharest. Also I applied for Veterinary Medicine and Lingvistics. Either one of these will please me ,although I’d rather prefer the first one. Anyway, as for my appearance, I have long brown hair and dark brown eyes, I’m short (1.65 m) and average weight. The main reason for which I’d like to be an au pair is to improve my speaking skills and find a good job when I finish my studies. I would also like to travel to the UK to be more open-minded in what concerns my vision of the future and see how other people live . Also I like everything culture and art related so a new place will be exciting to visit. I have had experience with kids , as a part-time babysitter . I looked after my cousin Costelus and my friend’s girl Florentina . Both are 8 or 9 years old. He is absolutely energetic and hyper all the time , so I had to be patient with him , but he’s nevertheless a loveable boy. The little girl I’ve taken care of was kind of shy and not much of a chit chatter, but I made her my friend and we were really close she told me when something was wrong and I miss her .Their parents provided me with a good reference. As for my hobbies , I really enjoy listening to music ,especially learn about head-guitarists and extraordinary female vocals. I practice singing sometimes and I wish I had a guitar and learn to play. I love reading and everything related to visual arts(including photography which I seek doing for a long time). I enjoy playing video games and read comic books. Also I like traveling ,watching good movies and playing tennis or basketball. As for light housework and ironing , I will be happy to help your family with , also if you need help in the kitchen I know how to prepare some good and healthy meals , and I will give my best to make your children happy. I would also like to be independent and be able to make a living by myself, since my family is having some money issues : my mother cannot provide me with the material resources for my studies since she is a modest employee and gains only the minimum wage salary (which I have to mention in Romania is not even enough to support yourself) and my father went to the countryside since he couldn’t find a place to work and now looks after my grandmother who’s sick and living alone. So , studying is really important for me , and being able to know more things about UK will make a great opportunity to start from. I don’t have a driver’s license but I will get trained next year in the summer. I am also comfortable with pets, I adore animals and I’m not bothered by smokers.
