my name is Silvia and I have lived in the Hertfordshire, UK for almost 2 years, worked at a bookshop and started studying Arts& Humanities and Psychology at the Open University. I returned for a brief period to my home country Slovakia to get a driver's licence and I want to go back to the UK as soon as possible, to continue my studies.
I am very open-minded and I love to laugh, I like walking and I prefer to live in the countryside, where I grew up with lots of animals. My family now lives in the city, but we still spend most of our weekends at our cottage. I come from a complete family, my parents are together for 28 years and I have a younger sibling- a brother, who is studying sculpture.
My education is very important for me and since it is not possible to continue my studies outside of the UK (the study fee is just too high) I want to stay as long as possible. I would like to work as a live-in au pair precisely because it would enable me to study further, without having to deal with the dificulties of a full time job to support myself in a foreign country and allow me to focus more of my attention to learning.
I am not affraid to work, I love cooking (mediterranean kitchen is my favourite) and baking (gingerbread and cupcakes), I love animals. My great interest is history of art, I love going to museums and galleries. I also study psychology and I am considering a future carreer working with children. I am very creative and independent, so if you let me take iniciative, I might positively surprise you and your children.

My English is decent (since I am a student at OU it has to be.) I also speak German really good and my native tongues are Hungarian and Slovak. I do speak a few words French and Spanish.
