I'm a 28 years old hungarian woman, actually living in Milan, Italy. I'm an au-pair here, taking care of a boy of 7 years (after school activities like football, swimming-pool, scout, writing the homeworks, etc.), cooking, ironing and cleaning the home (3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge living-room, a kitchen and 2 balconies). The boy here is native italian, but studying in an international school, where the language of education is english and so with him I have to talk only in english. I'm with this family since March, 2010. As for my life before Italy, I've been always living in Hungary, studying in a bilingual (english/hungarian) High School, then contiuing my studies in a school (3 years) and having the certification of International Spedition and Logistic Manager. During the years I've been working in Hungary I worked as a Quality Supervisor for Samsung, as a Personal Assistant for a head-hunter agency and finally as a Project Manager for DeLonghi. After the contract between my company and DeLonghi expired I've decided to try myself in a different role, in a different country. My main aim was to study italian and after these 20 months I've reached this objective, even if I've studied italian alone, at home. I can say that I'm lucky, because I've got a huge family with a grandmother (unfortunately I've already lost the other and both of my grandfathers too), a mother (my daddy passed away 3 years ago) and three brothers and a sister who are all wonderful persons and I just love them (because of my italian life I haven't seen them that often lately)! To describe myself in a few words, I'm really a very calm person who is always smiling (I do think that this is the best medicine for all...) and I can find the mutual voice with people extremely easily. I must say that I'm not a super-outgiong girl, I like to stay at home to read, to watch a film in TV or on my computer, to relax. When I go out I like to go around to see new places, to go to the cinema, in restaurant where you can talk and to have a good time (I prefer not to go to places like disco and stuff...), to walk and to make photos... a lot (my little brother just loves to watch them when I'm home... =) )! With kids I've never had problems, I have got the amount of patience needed to deal with the little ones (perhaps even more than the needed amount), I never shout and it's almost impossible to make me angry (angry in a way that has visible signs, I meant...). And having that many brothers and sister (all of them are younger than me, the youngest is my little brother with his 13 years) I have the experience too how to take care of kids in different ages. Finally the reason why I would like to change country. I love Italy and my present "family" is really very nice and kind. When I came here I told to stay for 1.5 years, what passed already. Now that I'm going to go home for Christmas I've decided not to come back here but to go to another country. I would really love to go to England (possibly to London or nearby) and again not for only a period of 2-3 months, but half a year (at least), depending on the needs of my future host family. I tried to tell as many things about me as it was possible and I really hope that the above writtens made you interested in me! If yes, do not hesitate to contact me! If no, thank you for your attention paid to my presentation letter anyway! Dora
