`Hi, My name is Mai and I'm a french student, 19years old (20 this year); I just read your ads and I wanted to apply to become an au-pair in your house; I dont smoke, I'm single, and I have many hobbies and intersts. To please my parents, since I was a bright student, I have been in Polytech for two years, now I'm really tired to do things I hate (chimstry smells like hell to me), thus I decided to do what I really wanted in my life: writing (I've sent my book to an editor - sorry I know my grammar isnt really good, but I'm writing my novels in french, of course) and living in london. I know it will be quite hard, to come with almost nothing, in a city I dont know, without anyone, that's the main reason why I wanted to be an au.pair: the family i will be in will be like a reassuring pillar to me, and I intend to be fair, truthful and as good as I can, to be loved by the children and thrust by the parents. At the moment I'm an au pair in Guildford, Surrey, and I adviced my employer that I wanted to quite the job to be clother to London, and to take care of children instead of cats (well I love cats, but 25 cats is quite...) I'm sending you my resumé (i translated it in english) and I think you will understand that I'm a very serious person; I'll add that I have my first aid degree, and I always took care of my little sister who's 10years younger than me, I did some babysitting, during the 3years of high school, and I used to teach classical ballet and maths to 7-13 years old teens. If you think that I'm suitable enought to keep my application in mind, please tell me more about your children: what are they doing, will the au pair have to teach them some things? I'm pretty good in maths, (I will keep on studying math and computers, if I have enought time - if I cant, I'll do it again next year) and in french, of course, in chimstry (even if I hate that subject) in physics, biology, spanish, latin... I almost forgot: I can cook French meals, some japaneses, senegaleses…
