No - Whilst I have no formal qualifications in childcare, I am a very experienced babysitter (over five years experience). I have also worked in one-to-one care with children whose diabilities have included autism and cerebral palsy. I have worked in a variety of capacities with children and young people aged from 0-18 years of age, including teaching.
I am Francesca (known as Frankie); I am 21 years old, and from Cambridge in the United Kingdom, where I live with my mother and father (I also have one sister who is two years older than me; she lives in London). I have recently finished my degree and completed a CELTA course, qualifying me to teach English. I have decided I want to be an au pair because I would love to experience a new culture whilst living with a family. I love working with children, and have experience looking after a very wide range of ages, as well as children with disabilities. I also enjoy teaching, and whilst at university I tutored young people in a range of subjects. I would love to help your children with their homework, and have a lot of experience in making even the least interesting subjects fun!
I am happy to help clean your home, and I really enjoy cooking for my friends and family, so I would love to cook for you - it is one of my hobbies. I enjoy swimming and horse-riding, and also reading in my spare time. I sung in a choir in the UK, and I am also keen on amateur dramatics.
