L'ÉTÉ 2011 je voudrais travailler comme fille au pair dans un pays francophone ou anglophone, pour 7 semaines, du 9-10 JUILLET au 27 AOÛT.
Je m’appelle Olatz et je suis née le 18 Mai 1987, donc j’ai 23 ans. J’habite dans le nord d’Espagne, au Pays Basque. Le village où j’habite s’appelle Zarauz, il est situé dans la côte et il est près de Saint Sébastien (la capitale), laquelle sera probablement plus familier pour vous.
J’adore les enfants ; c’est pour cela que je suis professeur de la danse basque depuis que j’ai 15 ans. Pendant ceux 8 ans j’ai eu des différents groups d’enfants lesquels étaient d’entre 5 et 14 ans. Et cette année scolaire j’ai deux groups: un groupe de 13 filles qui ont entre 10-11 ans et l’autre de 7 filles d’entre 12-14 ans.
Quand j’avais 15 ans, j’ai travaillé 2 mois dans un parc pour enfants avec des enfants d’entre 0 et 12 ans. Pour finir avec mes “travaux” relatifs aux enfants et jeunes, j’ai été monitrice d’un groupe de temps libre composé par des jeunes d’entre 12 et 16 ans (j’avais 17 ans).
Mon langue maternelle est le basque mais je sais l’espagnol depuis que j’ai 3 ans (au Pays Basque la plupart de gens et d’écoles sont bilingues, on a deux langues, le basque et l’espagnol) Je suis capable de comprendre et de me communiquer bien en Français (j’ai le DALF C1 du ministère de l’éducation national de la République Française) Je sais aussi l’anglais, pas si bien que le français mais je suis capable de le comprendre et de me communiquer (j’ai le « First Certificate in English » de l’Université de Cambridge)
Je sais nager; je nage depuis l’âge de 3 ans. Comme j’habite à la côte, il est “nécessaire” de le savoir.
Mes hobbies sont lire, regarder des films, sortir avec mes amis, aller à la plage…
Je suis sympa, gaie et bavard, même si je suis assez timide au début. J’ai aussi beaucoup de patience.
Je sais nager: Je nage depuis que j'ai 3 ans. Comme j'habite à la côte il est "nécessaire" de savoir nager.
Même si je suis étudiant en philologie Française (pour devenir professeur de Français), je vais dans une académie d’anglais, car je pense qu’aujourd’hui il est nécessaire pour avoir du boulot, donc je trouve qu’être au pair est la meilleure façon pour améliorer mon niveau d’anglais ou français, ou bien les deux ensemble. J’aimerais aussi travailler comme fille au pair car j’adore les enfants et je serais ravie de les garder et nous pourrions nous amuser ensemble.
J’ai été fille au pair QUATRE fois:
La première était à Salagnon (à environ 1h de Lyon; France) pour 2 mois (du 24 Juin au 21 Août 2006) dans une famille adorable avec 3 enfants; deux filles de 11 mois et presque 7 ans et un fils de 4 ans.
La deuxième était à Bévilard (à environ 30min de Bienne ; Suisse) pour 2 mois (du 30 Juin au 1 Septembre 2007) dans une famille merveilleuse avec 2 enfants; un fils de 18 mois et une fille de 4 ans.
La troisième était en France (On a été à Toulon, en Corse, à St Malo et à l’Essart) pour 2 mois et demi (du 27 Juin au 5 Septembre 2009) dans une famille sympa avec 2 enfants; un fils de 18 mois et une fille de 3 ans et demi. À part eux, j’ai aussi gardé leur nièce de 7 mois pendant Presque 1 mois et demi; et pendant 2 semaines j’ai aussi gardé leurs amis 2 enfants de Presque 2 ans et 3 ans.
La quatrième a été à Glanmire (à environ 15min de Cork; Ireland) pour 2 mois (du 28 Juin au 28 Août) dans une famille charmant avec 4 enfants; deux filles de 4 mois et 5 ans et deux fils de 2 et 3 ans.
C’est pour cela que je voudrais répéter ceux inoubliables expériences que j’ai vécues les 4 derniers étés que j’ai été fille au pair.

In SUMMER 2011, I would like to work as an au pair in an english or french speaking country for 7 weeks, from the 9-10th of JULY to the 27th of AUGUST.
My name is Olatz and I was born the 18 May of 1987, so I'm 23 years old. I live in the north of Spain, in the Basque Country. The village where I live it's called Zarautz, it's situated on the coast and it's near San Sebastian (the capital), which is probably more familiar for you.
I love children; it's for that reason that I am a Basque dance teacher since I was 15 years. During these 7 years I had got different groups of children who were between 5 and 13 years old. And this school year I've got two groups: one group of 13 girls who are 10-11 years old and another one with 7 girls who are 12-14 years old.
When I was 15 years old, I have worked 2 months in an amusing park with children between 0 and 12 years old; To finish with my "works" relative with children and young, I've been monitor of a free time group who were between 12 and 16 years (I was 17 years old)
My native language is the Basque but I know Spanish since I was 3 years old (in the Basque Country the immense majority of people and schools are bilingual, we have two languages the Basque and Spanish) I am able to understand and speak French well (I've got the DALF C1 of the French Department of Education) I also know English, not as well as French but I'm able to understand it and to communicate (I've got the University of Cambridge's First Certificate in English).
I know swimming; I swim since I was 3. As I live in the coast it's "necessary" to know it.
My hobbies are reading, watching films, being with friends, going to the beach...
I'm nice, happy and talkative although at the beginning I'm a little bit shy. I'm also very patient.
Although I'm a French philology student (to become French teacher), I go to an English academy because I think nowadays it's necessary to get a job, so I find being au pair is the best way to improve my English or French skills; even both of them. I would also work as an au pair because I like children so, I would like to take care children and get fun with them.
I've been au pair FOUR times:
The first one was in Salagnon (at about 1h of Lyon; France) for 2 months (from the 24th June to the 21st August 2006), in a marvellous family who has 3 nice children; 2 daughters of 11 month and almost 7 years old and a son of 4 years.
The second one was in Bévilard (at about 30 minutes of Biel; Switzerland) for 2 months (from the 30th of June to the 1st September 2007) in a wonderful family who has got 2 adorable children; 1 daughter who was nearly 4 years old and a son of 18 months.
The third one was in France (We stayed in Toulon, in Corsica, in St Malo and in L'Essart) for 2 months and a half (from the 27th June to the 5th September 2009) in a great family who has got 2 lovely children; 1 daughter who was 3 years and a half and a son of 18 months. Apart from them, I also looked after their niece who was 7 months during almost 1 month and a half; and during 2 weeks I also looked after their friend's 2 children who were 3 years and a half and almost 2 years old.
The fourth one it's been in Glanmire (at about 15 minutes from Cork city; Ireland) for 2 months (from the 28th June to the 28th August 2010) in a really lovely family who has got 4 enchanting children; 2 daughters who were 4 months and 5 years old and 2 boys of 2 and 3 years old.
It's for those reasons that I would like to repeat these unforgettable experiences I had in the last four years as an au pair.
