Dear family, My name is Klára and I’m 18. I am from the Czech Republic. I live in the town with my family and I study at the Grammar school (gymnasium) near my hometown. I have 2 younger sisters – Veronika (16) and Adéla (5). Veronika studies environmentalism at Grammar school and Adéla goes to a kindergarten. When parents are not at home I look after Adéla. I really like animals.We have quite a lot of pets – a dog, 2 cats, fishes and a tortoise. The most of all I like music – I play the piano, little bit a guitar and sing ( I sing in the choir and in the band). I like nature, sports, reading, and also I go to a scout troop, where I make a program for children. I spend 3 months in the USA about 5 years ago. It was a good experience.I lived there in my uncle’s family and sometimes I looked after their 3 children. I think we had a great time together. When I came back from the USA my English was very good but now it‘s worse and worse and I really have to do something with it – and that’s the main reason for becoming an au-pair. I’d like to improve my English but I would like to learn more about the culture and people form different country also. And of course I enjoy being with the children and spend time with them.
