My name is Taziana, I am 19 and living in Galway in the west of Ireland. All my life I have loved children and loved travelling, we moved around quite a bit while I was growing up. We are currently settled here in Ireland for the past 4 years. I am a student in the National University of Ireland, in Galway, studying science. It is my ambition to obtain a degree in microbiology, then possibly continue further to another degree level. I have lots of experience looking after children, though I have only been a nanny once before. In 2008 I spent 2.5 months in Massachusetts, USA looking after 2 wonderful young girls. The mother was newly diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and in very much pain while waiting for treatment from her doctors. Her husband ran his own business and was usually only around the house in the late evenings and on Sundays. My duties were to wake up with the girls in the morning and ready them for the day (get them breakfast, dressed and take the elder girl to school). While the elder girl was in morning school, I would do some cleaning in the house. Make the girls beds, clean the dishes from breakfast, sweeping and clean the bathroom. I would then collect the elder girl from school and provide lunch and activities for the afternoon while their mother was away at various doctor's appointments. I also have a lot of babysitting experience as I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old. I love spending time with children and think they are the most creative beings on the planet. I have a lot of respect for them and find being with them joyous.
