My name is Téhamida but my friends and my family call me Téha. I'm 18 and I live in Aix en Provence (south of France) with my family. I have decided to take a gap year and be an au pair not only to improve my English but also to learn more about the English culture as I have always been attracted to this country. I intend to apply for an English university in September 2011 to study International Business or/and management, so working until August 2011 is not a problem for me. I have always enjoyed playing with children and my experience as a babysitter but also as a big sister ( my brother is 15 and my sister is 4) has taught me to be more patient and to understand more children's needs. I've also worked several times in holiday camps with children from 3 to 13 years old and it enabled me to know fun and really entertaining games. Family is really important to me and being an au pair is not just a job but it's also being part of a family. I am a very organised person who enjoys outdoors and nature. I am also very sociable, cheerful and I have a lot of energy.
