Dear host family, I'm Cristina from Sicily (Italy). I'm 20 and I'm a student at University of Law because I would like to become a lawyer. But now I would like to take a break from University to do the Au-Pair. I live with my parents (I'm only child), I always wanted a sister or a brother, but unfortunatelly I didn't have... And so I would like to do the Au-Pair also for this, to consider your children like my little sister/brother! :)
It may seems that I'm very shy and silent, but then, knowning me, I'm a nice, charismatic and full of energy girl (or at least it is what the other people say!). I like to laugh and joke, but obviously I know when is the moment to be serious! I was a pioneer (young component of Italian Red Cross) and so I was ever in contact with children; we (and also me) had the idea that children learn playing! I hope that this idea like to you too. Thank to Italian Red Cross I've learned the rules of First Aid. What else to say... I have not worked with an Au Pair family yet but I have experience with babysitting with my little cousins Sara and Miriam (5 and 11) and with the daughter of a friend of mine, Manuela (4). I'm a smoker, but obviously if you don't like it, I wont smoke :)

Reasons For Becoming An Au Pair/Nanny etc:
I would like to do the Au-Pair for three reasons: first because last summer I was in London, and I felt in love of this beautiful city, and so I would like to return also to learn something more about english culture. Second, because I love children, and as I've said, I would like to consider you and your children like my second family! And third, because I think that this wonderful experience may helps me like an opportunity of growth. :)
