thank you for reading my profile. My name is Monika, I am 29 and I finished my university studies five years ago. I studied teaching English and Slovak language because I have allways thought that teaching is my mission.
Why I chose to be a teacher?That is a good question. I think it is a wonderful job to help kids understand the world around us, educate them, form them, teach them what is right and what is wrong.
I have two younger sisters and they always came up to me when they needed help, especially with Slovak, English, German and Biology. They were glad I could help them and I was happy, too. I felt I am needful and that is a fantastic feeling, isnt it? Besides, I was told I can explain perfectly and I really like working with kids so I took their advice and start my studies.
I would describe myself as a positive, responsible, sensitive and caring person. I am a Christian, go to church every Sunday and believe that all the good one gives will come back a hundred times. I think I am sincere person and open to new style of life, new culture, new experiences. I take every opportunity to learn something that is why I like meeting people you can talk to and get to know them; I am said to be a good listener:)
My hobbies: reading, writing, as you see:), movies, traveling, photographing, pets, mainly cats and dogs. I am not any athlete, but from sports I like swimming the best (I adore the sea, it is the love of my life) and I have also tried horse riding and it was wonderful. I am interested in studying foreign languages; I would really like to learn French, Spanish or Italian.
The thing is, although I like an aupair job, you just cannot do it all the life or build a carreer upon it and I am 25 already, so it is important for me if you would be so kind to help me find some extra job where I can continue after my stay with you ends, maybe in a hotel or somewhere where I can practise my English or maybe German and talk with people, help them, advise them I would be so so very grateful and happy indeed!!!
I really enjoy being with kids, looking after them, teaching them, playing with them, dressing them, going on walks, having fun with them. They are so sincere and they have their own way of looking at things. You are never bored with them and in many ways you can learn from them, too.
And of course, I am looking forward to seeing new places, meeting new people and improving my language skills. I love to travel, to learn, to broaden my mind. Thank you for the chance!
