To Become an Au Pair in the UK

Pentru a lucra in U.K. ca Au Pair, cetatenii romani trebuie:
- sa fie membrii ai UNIVERSAL AU PAIR
- sa obtina permisul de munca in baza scrisorii-invitatie (vezi UK Border Agency)
- virsta 19-27 ani
- nefumatori (in general)
- sa fie necasatoriti, fara obligatii;
- sa merga in U.K. cu scopul de a invata (perfectiona) limba engleza.

Scrisoarea- invitatie pe care o primiti din partea familiilor trebuie sa confirme ca:
• veti ajuta in casa in care sunteti plasat pana la 5h/zi;
• veti avea cel putin 2 zile libere pe saptamana;
• veti primi o alocatie si propria camera;
• veti fi plasat la o familie vorbitoare de limba engleza.

In schimbul ajutorului dumneavoastra, familia va va asigura cazare si masa completa, veti locui cu ei ca facand parte din familie si veti primi bani de buzunar cel putin 60₤ pe saptamana.

Notificare:

-Furnizarea oricaror informatii sau date false ale candidatului (ei) in scopul obtinerii Permisului de Munca (Accession Worker Card) va duce la anularea si respingerea in totalitate a cererii acestuia

- Nu incepeti munca fara Permisul de Munca. In conformitate cu legile britanice pedeapsa pentru cei gasiti lucrind “la negru” este de 3 (trei) luni inchisoare si o amenda de 1.000₤

- Conform termenilor stipulati in Permisul de Munca (Accession Worker Card) nu va este permis sa va angajati in alte locuri de munca aditionale.

- Dupa 12 luni de lucru neintrerupt (in baza Permisului de Munca) ca Au Pair, acest permis nu mai este obligatoriu pentru a va angaja in alte domenii.



Romanian and Bulgarian citizens who wish to travel to the UK as au pairs will need to complete form BR3 and obtain an Accession Worker Card, prior to starting work.
Please note that a Romanian or Bulgarian citizen wishing to work in the UK as an au pair must:
- have and intend to take up an au pair placement;
- be aged between 17 to 27 inclusive;
- be unmarried and not in a civil partnership;
- have no dependants.

If you do not meet these criteria, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAY IN THE UK.

Obtaining the Blue Card

Once you have worked legally in the UK for a 12 month period without interruption, then you can apply for registration certificate (Blue Card), which confirms your right to live and work in the UK. You will need:

- Completed form BR1
- A letter from your family confirming that you have been working for them for 12 months
- Your Accession Worker (Purple) Card - you must have this to show that you have been working legally
- Your passport or ID
- Wage slips or other evidence of your employment if you have any

She is employed by us as an au pair; she helps us around the house and to take care of our [details of children]. She works [number of hours] hours a week for which she gets [amount of money].

We would really appreciate it if this letter is used to assist her being issued a registration certificate.
